Anquan Liu, senior researcher, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden
Dr. Anquan Liu is a senior researcher at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. Dr. Liu obtained his PhD in Tumor Biology and Tumor Immunology at Karolinska Institutet. After the post doc training in stem cell biology at Department of Medicine, Karolinska Hospital, he has been conducting research at IMM, Karolinska Institutet. One of his recent focus is atherosclerosis and the related chronic inflammatory diseases.
Dr. Liu has published more than 20 articles in peer-reviewed international journals, like Blood, Leukemia and ATVB, and he was invited as speaker /oral presentation in more than 20 international congress. Dr. Anquan Liu has been awarded so far scholarship and research grant from Sweden, the US, EU including Cancer Research Institute (New York)/Concern Foundation (Los Angeles), Swedish Cancer Society and Swedish Söderberg Foundation. He is also guest professor of several universities in China.
